KEITH JONES MEMORIAL AWARD
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Keith Jones was a long term member of ACT Masters Squash. He was a major contributor to the work of the Committee and the running of ACT Masters squash over many years. He epitomized the Masters Spirit both on and off the court. Keith passed away in 2012.
In recognition to his contribution to ACT Masters the Keith Jones Memorial Award has been established. The eligibility criteria should include, but not limited to, the following:
Mandatory
- Member of ACT Masters Squash for 3 years
- Nominee to have contributed substantially to ACT Masters Squash
Examples of Service
- Committee member (optional)
- Contributing substantially to the running and organization of Masters Squash:
– Stocking the fridge
– Catering
– Lock up
– Putting out score sheets/balls
– Ad hoc tasks
- Playing in the Masters Spirit.
- Representing ACT Masters at the various interstate masters’ tournaments and/or Australian Masters Championships
- Participation and contribution to the running of the annual ACT March championships
Process of the Award:
- Nominations to be considered by the ACTMSA Committee
- The recipient to be announced at the March Tournament dinner dance on the Saturday night
- Mrs Jones to present the inaugural Award
